Put Ezra on your home screen
Ezra installs straight from the web — no App Store, no Play Store, no download. It takes about fifteen seconds and works on iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows, Mac, and Chromebook.

It opens this page on the phone, where the right steps for that device are already selected. Print it in a bulletin, put it on a slide, or hand it round a study group.
Step-by-step by device
Pick your device. We highlighted our best guess for the one you are reading this on.
- 1Open ezraapp.site in Safari. This has to be Safari — Chrome on iPhone cannot install apps.
- 2Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen (a square with an arrow pointing up).
- 3Scroll down the list and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
- 4Tap “Add” in the top right. Ezra now sits on your home screen like any other app.
Tap the Ezra icon to open it full screen, with no address bar. Your microphone permission is remembered.
What installing actually changes
Opens full screen
No address bar and no tabs — Ezra fills the screen the way a native app does, so nothing distracts from the passage.
One tap to start
A scroll icon on your home screen. No typing a web address, no hunting through browser tabs to find where you left off.
Loads instantly
The app shell is stored on the device, so it opens straight away and shows a clear notice instead of a browser error when you lose signal.
A voice conversation still needs a live connection and microphone permission, so Ezra cannot talk with you offline. Installing makes him faster to reach, not independent of the internet.
Logo and QR downloads
For bulletins, slides, flyers, and anywhere else you point people to Ezra.

Ask Ezra any question about Scripture and he will walk you through it, verse by verse.
